Electrophoresis Combs

These brand combs are buikt to a uniquely high standard of quality and durability. The

teeth are precision machined from tough acrylic and the spine is made from thick PTFE

to offer heat resistant stifness. While we still recommend letting the freshly piured

agarose cool just a bit before placing the comb in the slot, our combs and gel trays will

withstand abuses that will damage flimsy injection moldede equipment.

These combs are as smart as they are sturdy, too! Every comb is labeled with the

number of teeth, tooth thickness and the replacement catalog number.

No more counting teeth to find the right comb.

Combs that have "MT" or "MT2" in their catalog number are microtiter format combs.

The teeth in these combs are spaced at 9mm (MT) or 4.5mm (MT2) center-to-center so

that the wells formed will be compatible with 8 and 12 channel pipettors. MT combs will

load each well, while MT2 combs will load every other well.
